Bottle of Notes

In 1993, before the National Lottery, and in the wake of huge social and industrial change, the commissioning of Claes Oldenberg and Coosje van Bruggen to produce the 'Bottle of Notes' marked a confident and ambitious new direction for visual arts commissions in the North of England.
'Bottle of Notes' now has a new cultural neighbour - Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art (MIMA) which opened in 2007.

Tees Valley Giants

This is Anish Kapoor who is Sculptor for this pieces of art

This is the sculptor of one of the "Tees Valley Giants" that is a nickname its real name is "Temenos"

This piece of art is 1 of 5 more other sculptures to be shown, this specific sculpture costs around £2.7m pounds and is 110m long and 50m high.

I think that this piece of art is a little bit disappointing i just hope that the other sculptures that are going to be created will boost this one into shape, because at the moment i just think that this is a let down and will bring no improvement into Middlesbrough.
